Since 2008 Sound City has brought in over £15 million and created over 100 new jobs (Cobham-Murphy independent audit statistics) in the music, new tech and digital business community
In the short term our programmes have been running our former graduates have already had some great success and gained invaluable insight into the business environment they want to position themselves within long term.
To date, we have delivered training to 121 people in 4 cohorts in Liverpool, 74% of whom graduated with a Sound City Training Certificate. This is an achievement considering retention and pass rates in further education are 63% nationally (Ofsted 2015). Those who completed the training have gone on to work at companies including Glastonbury, Festival No6, Sunday Best Recordings, Warner Chappell, Festival No6
